Who was in charge of the overseeing the McKinley roof project? Central office that's who. But the problems that caused the mold at McKinley statred a long time ago. Read the reports, every window that was installed at McKinley over a 6 year period was installed wrong (sited in the Hoffman report) causing water to leak in behind the walls. Also, the pipes have been leaking not pools of water but ponds as also staed in the Hoffman report. This school has been neglected for many years. The roof problem just brought an existing problem into the light. My child attended McKinley from K thru 5. He came down with a serious mold allergy in 1st grade and had it through out his years ther. he required mold allergy shots for 5 years. He graduated from McKinley 6 years ago. Please lets not try to blame John Metsopoulos for McKinley, it's really not correct. Anyone who has lived in our town for as long as I have knows perfectly well that McKinley has always been the neglected one. But not anymore.
